  JJ Roofing Supplies is one of the leading roofing material suppliers in the UK. We offer customers a wide choice of quality roofing materials and associated products that can be purchase through one of our seven trade centres across London and Hertfordshire or online at jjroofingsupplies.co.uk.

  We require a H.G.V Class 2/L.G.V Class C driver with experience of driving around London and the surrounding counties for an exciting new position that has opened due to the growth of our company. We are looking for a H.G.V Class 2/L.G.V Class C driver to join a dynamic team working on keeping our high standard of delivery service in our new fleet of vehicles

  DUTIES

  • Delivering and collecting roofing materials with the assistance of a Hiab/crane.
  • Maintaining the vehicle to a high standard.
  • Achieving operational targets and contractual KPIs.
  • Providing accurate daily information to enable an effective handover.
  • Ensuring a safe and productive workplace where the Company’s legislative and commercial obligations are met.
  • Assisting the site staff with making up and loading of vehicles.

  
  The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and personal traits:

  • Minimum 3 years of previous experience in driving HGV’s.
  • Experience in using Digital Tacho card.
  • Crane/Hiab Knowledge would be of advantageous but not essential.
  • Full driver’s CPC is essential.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative, working to strict deadlines.
  • You should process well developed organisational skills and be able to demonstrate commitment to deliver consistent quality.
  • Good communication both verbal and written.
  • You will be expected to be both customer and company-focused with a pro-active approach.
  • Knowledge or experience of working in the Roofing sector would be advantageous, but not essential.

  As a Counter Sales Advisor, you will be responsible for serving our customers and building relationships to generate sales. Our client prides themselves on service and strive to ensure customers receive the products they need, easily and at a great price.

  An opportunity has arisen to work from our London Colney Depot, Where we supply and deliver and all forms of Roofing Materials.

  You will need to be a good communicator as you will be working closely with a team of experienced operatives and dealing with the Public. You should have a flexible attitude, and ideally some experience in the Building / Roofing Industry. You will need to be aware of health and safety where it will be a key factor within the working day. You will also be loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with a forklift truck, sorting stock and general housekeeping.

  Forklift experience would be helpful but not essential.

  As we expand our business, opportunities arise to work for our company in Isleworth, TW7. We supply and deliver all forms of Roofing Materials. Currently, we are looking for an Assistant Branch Manager.

  Role Description

  You will currently be a Assistant Branch Manager and have a proven track record of growing and sustaining a profitable operation. Passion and determination will be a pre requisite in order to build up a pipeline of new and existing business. You will also need to demonstrate appetite for highest level of customer service. Taking responsibility for maximising the potential sales and overall profitability of the Branch. Business development activity will be of paramount importance. It goes without saying that you will have a demonstrable track record in sales/negotiating/Stock Control and motivate your team in a hands-on role and be able to articulate innovative ideas that have resulted and will again result in new and existing customer wins. The right candidate will come to the table with a high level of energy, enthusiasm and motivation

  About You

  You will ideally have the following experience.

  Previous Roofing merchant or Construction related sector experience within a face to face customer service environment.

  Responsible for every aspect of the Branch, both Sales and operations.

  · Excellent Communication Skills are essential.

  · Experience working to challenging targets.

  · Able to demonstrate all of the above as well as showing an aptitude for success through confidence, accuracy and team work to ensure we achieve our service guarantees

  · Providing an advisory service to customers

  · A good level of computer literacy including Microsoft-Office especially excel.

  · Using Market intelligence and analysing Stock Profiles and Sales trends to anticipate future direction.
