2in1 roof windows
vs VELUX 3in1 roof windows
Everything you need to know on the new multiple windows in one frame roof window solution.
Launched in spring, the VELUX 2in1 roof window is a new addition to the existing range of multiple windows in one frame from the VELUX Group. Joining the existing 3in1 range this new window adds design flexibility, easier installation and makes the
VELUX Group the destination for 2in1 and 3in1 window solutions.
So, what you may be wondering is how this new product stacks up against the current VELUX 3in1 roof window we offer. This handy guide is here to help break down the differences between the two solutions, helping you choose the right window for you and your space.
Fixed and opening combination
Both window options have been designed to maximise the flow of daylight into the home, with the slim window profiles allowing more light into the space.
The VELUX 3in1 roof window provides wide panoramic views of the outside due to its 3-window configuration. The central sash is fixed whist the other two windows either side can be opened to allow the space to be filled with fresh air.
The VELUX 2in1 roof window allows you to double the daylight coming into your space with one openable and one fixed window. While this option will not provide panoramic view of the outside space it will bring in more daylight than a standard single window.

More daylight for your money
Combining more windows in one frame it the most affordable way to dramatically enhance the amount of daylight in any space. Both products save time and money due to ease of installation and costs reduction on windows and installation products.
Compared to a single roof window, the 2in1 can let in up to 2.5x more daylight and the 3in1 up to 3 times. Both options are a more affordable way to add daylight to your living space without having to purchase multiple windows.

Maximise your space's potential
The VELUX 2in1 roof window is perfect for small to medium sized spaces such as bedrooms or offices due to the aesthetic and slim design.
For larger rooms, the 3in1 will offer you a window configuration of 2 opening sashes and one fixed, this additional window will add more daylight flow in larger spaces.
Both windows offer a more affordable way to add more daylight due to the cost effectiveness of purchasing one unit over multiple individual roof windows.

Installation
Roof window convenience at its best as both window options contain multiple sashes housed within one window frame. This means both options can be installed as one, meaning less holes in the roof, less fuss, and less installation time.
This range from the VELUX Group would be a fantastic addition to any home, transforming any room into a bright and open space in a quick and affordable way. Available in a number of variants, glazing options and sizes, these cost-effective VELUX roof windows can offer flexibility, control over your daylight, and help create a healthier living environment.
