How RoofLITE+ Windows Are Becoming More Sustainable

Sterlingbuild Sustainability

At Sterlingbuild, we are consciously working towards a more sustainable business practice, which includes being selective over the suppliers we chose to work with. To enable us to develop our business with sustainability in mind it really matters that our partners share in this eco-friendly vision for our future too.

Here at Sterlingbuild, we are consciously working towards a more sustainable business practice, which includes being selective over the suppliers that we chose to work with. To enable us to develop our business with sustainability in mind it really matters that our partners share in this eco-friendly vision for our future too.

We are very proud to work with both Velux and Altaterra and are constantly on the lookout for more great suppliers to work with, with sustainability in mind. Ensuring that we partner with other eco-conscious companies enables us to steer Sterlingbuild towards the

more sustainable future we'd like to see.

Altaterra Sustainability

One of our most sustainable suppliers is VELUX. Creating windows for the last 80 years, VELUX have strived to develop reliable and long-lasting products that are good for both your home and the planet. VELUX are so confident in their sustainable practice that they have set the goal to become Lifetime Carbon Neutral

by 2041! On top of this, VELUX has also pledged that by 2030 a VELUX roof window will contain 50% less CO2 and all packaging will be plastic free and made of 100% recyclable material. With such a high regard for the planet, it is clear why we’re proud to work with such an eco-conscious supplier.

One of their biggest goals includes ensuring that their business is carbon neutral by 2030 as outlined in their ‘wecare strategy manifesto’. Determined to forge a path for the construction industry as a whole, Altaterra are paving the way for sustainable practices across their operations and products.
