Crafted from robust extruded aluminium, the VELUX skylight frame is designed for long-lasting durability. The window can be hinged on either side, offering flexibility with left or right-hung options. Its integrated flashing ensures hassle-free installation, and the weather-resistant, maintenance-free polyurethane construction protects your space from the elements.

Optimized Ventilation and Safety Features

The skylight comes with an easy-to-use handle, positioned on the left as standard but can be moved to the right before installation for added convenience. The three-position handle allows you to control airflow, keeping your space fresh even with the window closed. For added safety, the window includes a patented safety opening restrictor, preventing the sash from swinging too wide and damaging your roof.

While the VELUX GVT and GVK windows are perfect for adding natural light and ventilation to uninhabited spaces, they are not recommended for habitable rooms due to their thermal performance.
