VELUX EW 0000 Single Replacement Tile Flashing – For Replacing pre 2001 windows with new window
The EW Replacement Tile flashing kit has been designed when replacing old pre 2001 VELUX windows with a new window to allow the new VELUX window to be fitted into the roof structure at the same height as the old window. The old VELUX windows fitted on the rafters and since 2001 VELUX windows have been fitted on the battens. When fitted in the correct way there will be very little making good internally as the new window will fit in the same place as the old window was previously. The height of the aluminium flashing is slightly higher on this model than on a standard flashing to accommodate this.
The EW 0000 replacement tile flashing packages includes every part to seal the window into the roof structure to achieve a single VELUX window installation in the roof. The external colour of this flashing is standard colour Grey. This VELUX Flashing does not include any insulation collars and assumes that the window is fitted tight to the rafter. Therefore the installation is simplified and the window and flashing can be installed as per the original installation.

Top Tip – Check you have approx. 40-60mm gap around the window between the rafter so you can install the BDX insulation frame if you have this please use the EW 6000 flashing. If the window is tight to the rafter, then please use the EW 0000 replacement flashing instead.
