RoofLITE + UCX7 Additional Deep Tile Flashing Kit for installing one roof window above another.
The flashing is an indispensable part of roof window installation. The RoofLITE+ UCX7 tile flashing is compatible with profiled tile roofing materials, concrete tiles, profiled ceramic tiles and even corrugated metal roofing between 16 to 120 mm thick. The extended pleated aluminium apron ensures that the installation is safe and watertight in higher profile roofing materials.
The UCX7 flashing kit enables installation of two roof windows above each other. When installing two RoofLITE+ one above the other you must also purchase the UFX deep tile flashing kit. This allows for a standard 100mm frame gap between the windows.
The UCX7 contains the following components. Side flashings for the top roof window (L & R) and 100mm joining flashing at the bottom to join with the top of the lower window).
The RoofLITE+ UFX tile flashing is made from aluminium and comes in the same grey (RAL7043) colour as the cladding parts of the RoofLITE+ roof windows. The aluminium apron provides a perfect seal between the roof window and the profiled roofing materials. The foam gasket guarantees protection against rain, powder snow or birds nesting under the tiles.
This flashing has been extensively tested for complete water tightness under the most rigorous conditions and is all-weather and UV resistant.
The RoofLITE+ UCX7 flashing is easy to install, comes with a 10-year guarantee and can be installed in a roof with a slope of between 15 to 90 degrees.
Please note that only RoofLITE+ flashing is acceptable in respect of the guarantee on RoofLITE+ roof windows.
For installing 2 roof windows above each other, you will need the standard UFX + UCX7 flashings.
