The RoofLITE+ IFC / IFCS is an insulating foam collar for sealing the space between the window and the rafters.
This foamed polyethylene insulating collar is recommended for use with the installation of every RoofLITE+ roof window, as an accessory that improves the level of insulation between the window and the rafters.
The IFC/IFCS collar forms a tight seal around the window, which limits heat loss and protects the room interior against moisture. The IFC/IFCS collar makes an excellent addition to the RUC underfelt foil collar.
The IFC/IFCS insulating foam collar is very quick and straightforward to install - simply attach it to the window frame using the durable double-sided strip included in the box. The collar is pre-cut to fit the dimensions of the window frame. Be sure to keep this parameter in mind when making your selection.
Solid frame types require the IFC collar. Slim frame types require the IFCS collar.
