Blinds are essential to the overall comfort of a room. Natural light is wonderful, but excessive sun and glare can make everyday activities, such as reading and watching TV, less enjoyable.
Adding blinds to your roof windows combats this problem, helps ensure a peaceful night's sleep or lay in, and improves sound and heat insulation. RoofLITE+ multi fit blinds are available for all sizes of RoofLITE+ window and can even be used on other brands, such as the VELUX Group and Keylite. We sell two varieties of RoofLITE+ blind styles and offer a strong collection of colours available to compliment your existing decor. But before you choose the right style for your room, you will need to locate your windows' code in order to find the right sized blind to match.
Finding your RoofLITE+ size code
Every RoofLITE+ window has an identification label, which is found on the top part of the sash. The data plate enables easy product identification, and has details of product type, dimensions and production code.
A = Model type
B = Size code
C= Glazing spec
D= Production code (not needed for blinds)
Once you've identified your code, it's time to decide what type of blind you want for your window. RoofLITE+ multi fit blinds are available for internal and external installation.
RoofLITE+ blackout blinds
RoofLITE+ blackout blinds completely shut-out incoming sunlight. This makes them the perfect option for bedrooms and living rooms. Made from a durable and dirt resistant polyester, blackout blinds are a hard wearing, low maintenance blind that will offer years of protection.
If your RoofLITE+ window and blind is installed out of arm's reach, a universal telescopic control rod can be purchased to open and close your blind with ease.
RoofLITE+ awning blinds
RoofLITE+ awning blinds are installed on the outside the window to diffuse sunlight and protect a room from overheating.
Discreetly fitted inside the hood of the window, the blind can be rolled up and protected when not in use. Also known as anti-heat blinds, awning blinds can be used in combination with RoofLITE+ roller blinds to ensure comfort in all conditions.
