This week 12 attendees went through the course to become the first Trained Installers of the Cover It Advanced GRP Waterproofing System.
Who takes the courses?
The courses were taught by experienced trainers who were previously roofers imparting tips, tricks and processes to actually use on the job to make the installation easier, fast, and in accordance with the manufacturers installation guidance.
What was taught?
The training teaches attendees the correct application of the system according to the Cover It installation manual to enable the user to apply for a 20 Year Manufacturer Guarantee as well as:
- System overview - made in the UK
- The 4 C's (Coverage, Catalyst, Consolidation, Care)
- Boarding, trims and preparing for applying the liquid
- Laminating
- Topcoating
- Guarantee
