Stop Tool Theft - Join the Movement to Protect Trades!

Have You or Someone You Know Been Affected by Tool Theft?

Every 9 minutes, a work van is broken into, leaving tradespeople to face stolen tools, damaged vehicles, and lost livelihoods. It's a devastating issue affecting the entire trades community, and it’s time for action. Have you or someone you know experienced this?

At JJ Roofing Supplies, we’re standing with Trades United to support the Stop Tool Theft Rally on Monday, 3rd February 2025, and we want you to get involved too. Together, we can demand stricter laws and better enforcement to protect hardworking tradespeople from this growing epidemic.

What’s Happening?

Trades United is hosting a peaceful rally in Parliament Square, Westminster, to call on the government to:

  • Enforce stricter penalties for thieves and those selling stolen tools.
  • Provide better funding for law enforcement to tackle tool theft.
  • Protect tradespeople’s livelihoods by updating outdated laws.

The rally will begin with a van convoy from Brent Cross at 11:00 AM, arriving in Westminster by 12:00 PM.

JJRS Is Getting Involved.

We’re committed to supporting this cause and will be attending the rally alongside industry leaders like Danny Madden (Madden Builders). Steve Wells and the JJRS team will document the day, showcasing our journey and highlighting this important issue.

Keep an eye on our Instagram page to see what we’re doing to support the rally and how you can get involved. Follow JJRS on Instagram

Why It Matters.

Tool theft doesn’t just cost money - it costs time, trust, and security. For tradespeople, it can mean losing weeks of work and adding financial burdens, like replacing tools or repairing vehicles. We believe it’s time for action, and JJ Roofing Supplies is proud to support our customers in this movement.

Join us on 3 February 2025, and let’s make a stand together.
