Roofing repair and overhaul

The biggest problem a roof will face throughout its life is lack of regular maintenance. A roof that is looked after will be a roof which lasts for many years.

However, many homeowners neglect their roofs and it's only when they have a problem that they pay attention to one of the most important parts of the home.

A good way to find problems before they progress to a more serious issue is to have a seasonal check of your roof. Things that can be checked include the lead flashings, the pointing around the chimney, ridges and valleys, condition of the tiles, the guttering, soffits and bargeboards and also the internal space such as the loft or void under the tiling.

There are many roofing contractors who will be happy to take a quick look at your roof to assess its overall condition. If you choose to have this type of service, you'll never have a costly repair bill again.

If you have a flat roof it's imperative to have it checked on a regular basis, as this type of roof is more prone to leaks than a pitched roof.
