Always use the right roofing materials

The roof is the most important part of your house. Because of this we need to be sure that the correct materials are being used in its construction.

What are the products you need?

To build a roof we need to start with the roof tiles, shingles and felt sheets. Wood is also a basic element when it comes to roof building. The wood is used to make the structure or frame on which the roof is constructed.

Guttering, fascias and soffits are other important parts of a roof. High quality guttering is important so the drains don't get blocked and soffits and fascias form a joint between your roof and the walls.

The frame of the home is first constructed, following which the roof is built. Before laying the tiles on the roof, it is important to put felt sheeting on the roof. This sheet ensures that the house remains protected even if the tiles are damaged.

Building a roof requires commitment. It is therefore advised to hire a professional, who will do the job well. Make sure that the supplies used are of superior quality and bought from recommended and trustworthy suppliers.
