Velux DFD duo blackout blinds allow you to control the amount of daylight and temperature within a room. Velux roof windows are fitted with pre-installed brackets to ease installation and to help you achieve a perfect fit every time!

What You Need To Know:

Step One - Check the Window Code: Every Velux roof window carries a unique data plate, which details the type and size of the window. (View image below)

Step Two - Order Using the Correct Code: For example, DFD duo blackout blind for the GGL pine window M08 size, colour code 0001.

Delivery Time: 5-7 working days. All blinds come direct from Velux.

Velux Duo Blackout Blinds:.

  • Combination of Blackout and semi-opaque Pleated blinds.
  • Only available in certain colours and sizes in combination with white pleated blind.
  • Available in manual operation only.

    • how does the duo blackout blind work as opposed to the normal blackout blind?

    • Hi Elaine,

      Thanks for your message,

      The duo blind operates in a similar way to the normal blackout blind. The blackout blind pulls down from the top and the pleated blind will pull up from the bottom. The pleated blind is a not fixed at the top or bottom though so can be positioned anywhere.
