The WGI-C 45x55cm skylight is designed for light and ventilation in a conservation roof space. This item is the equivalent to the discontinued Velux GVA.

  • Top-hung design - sash opens outwards with two handle positions.
  • Pine frame.
  • Black external appearance with centre glazing bar.
  • Provides easy roof access.
  • U value 3.3W/m2K.
  • Integral flashing so nothing else required.
  • Suitable for roof pitch 15-60º.
  • Toughened outer pane.
  • This skylight is designed to be used in uninhabited roof spaces only.
  • Equilavent to discontinued Velux GVA.

External Frame Size: 45cm x 55cm

Please Note: No seperate flashing is required with this product. An integral flashing is attached to the outer frame of the window, and is suitable for a tile and slate roof.

    • I have 80 cm width of tile and 1metre high. Will this window fit into that space with all flashing around. How far if any does the flashing extend under the tiles? IS it double glazed? If so to what milimetre's width 24mmm? Thank you

    • Hi,

      This window is a skylight has has a thinner glazing thickness then a std roof window and is designed for non habitable roof spaces beause of the thermal performance. The flashing is prefitted and tiles sit over the flashing at th eback of the window so could be cut back if needed. The bottom flashing sits over the tiles at the bottom of the window and is approx 25cm long.

    • I have a top hung Velux GVA 000 Conservation Skylight bearing number " 08AC 08J ".The glazed apperture is Ht 550mm X Wd 450mm. The double glazing which has a vertical centre bar is cracked. Is it possible to demount the hinged frame and replace it with another without taking the whole sklight out of the roof?? and can this be acomplished from inside the room without going on to the roof ??
    • Hi John, we can supply the replacement hinged sash which would avoid changing the complete window. The cost would be £149.95 + vat and takes 7/10 days to be delivered. This can be fitted from inside the room. many thanks, Nick
